Police Chief of Kuta Baro Polresta Banda Aceh Leads Ceremony at Babul Maghfirah Islamic Boarding School

Kuta Baro, Aceh Besar* – Chief of Police of Kuta Baro, Iptu Muhammad Jabir, SH, MH, along with his staff and personnel, conducted the "Saweu Sikula" program by leading the flag-raising ceremony at Babul Maghfirah Modern Islamic Boarding School (SMP and SMA) in Gampong Lam Alue Cut, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar, on Monday (August 19, 2024).

In his address, Muhammad Jabir emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony within the school environment, particularly by avoiding any acts of bullying. He reminded the students that bullying is now considered a criminal offense and can be prosecuted.

"I urge all students at Babul Maghfirah Modern Islamic Boarding School, both at the junior high and senior high levels, not to engage in bullying. This issue has entered the criminal domain, meaning it can be subject to legal action," Jabir stated.

Jabir also called on class supervisors and teachers to actively monitor and address any cases of bullying in the school. If any students are found involved in such actions, they should be immediately summoned and guided at the school. However, if the school finds it challenging to handle the situation, the Kuta Baro Police Chief is ready to coordinate.

He further emphasized the importance of students’ obedience and respect towards their parents and teachers. “I expect all students to obey and respect their parents and teachers,” he added.

In conclusion, Jabir expressed his appreciation to all the students for their orderly conduct during the ceremony. He also reminded the students not to bring mobile phones to the boarding school and urged the teachers to monitor the activities of the students within the boarding school.

"I appreciate and thank all the students for being orderly during the ceremony. I also ask all students not to bring mobile phones to the boarding school and request the teachers to monitor the activities of the students," he concluded.
