BNNP Aceh conducted simultaneous house searches of suspects in narcotics cases at five different locations on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
One of the locations searched was a house in Gampong Keude Cunda, Muara Dua District, Lhokseumawe City.
The head of BNNP Aceh, through the head of BNNK Bireuen, AKBP Sabri, led the search team this time. The team, consisting of personnel from BNN and the Lhokseumawe Police, departed from the Muara Dua Police Station.
The searched house was located at the end of an alley amidst a row of shops. Upon arrival, Sabri informed the homeowner about the search and requested the homeowner and the village head to accompany the process.
Officers searched every room in the house, including a room previously occupied by the suspect, S. They inspected every package, cupboard contents, walls, ceiling, and kitchen. In several corners of the house, BNN personnel found small empty plastic bags suspected to be remnants of methamphetamine packaging. However, Sabri stated that no new evidence was found in the house located in Keude Cunda.
In North Aceh Regency, BNNK Lhokseumawe collaborated with the Tanah Jambo Aye Police to search a house belonging to a national drug trafficking suspect in Alue Ie Mirah Village, Tanah Jambo Aye District.
The head of BNNK Lhokseumawe, AKBP Werdha Susetyo, stated that the search was a follow-up to the arrest of a suspect identified as MR alias GM (a resident of Alue Ie Mirah Village) by BNN in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
Another search was conducted in East Aceh Regency, led by the head of BNNK Langsa, Kompol Muhammad Dahlan, SH., MH. The search targeted the house of a suspect involved in the distribution of 40 kg of methamphetamine, previously arrested by BNNP Riau Islands. The suspect, identified as M, is known to be a resident of Paya Meligo, East Aceh.
Additionally, a search was carried out in Ketukah Village, Blangjerango District, Gayo Lues Regency. This operation was led by the head of BNNK Gayo Lues, Fauzul Iman, S.T., M.Si, in collaboration with Kapospol Blangjerango Aiptu Zen Herman, Satpol PP, the village chief of Ketukah, and local residents.
During the search, officers found two BRI bank account books under the name AI, which will be handed over to the investigation team for further action.
