WartaGlobalBali.Id – Bali's tourism world is rocked by an immigration scandal disguised as a visa service agency, allegedly swindling HUNDREDS of Foreign Nationals with estimated losses reaching BILLIONS of RUPIAH! Even more alarming, the victims' passports were held hostage, and they were threatened into silence, with one of the victims being a well-known expatriate, Jelly Fish George 'BaksoMan'.

This explosive case came to light when hundreds of Foreign Nationals from various countries flooded the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) of the Communication Forum for the Sons and Daughters of Retired Military and Police Officers (FKPPI) in Bali on Friday (10/10/2025) to report a visa service agent suspected of systematic fraud.

CRUEL MODUS OPERANDI: PROMISED WORK VISAS, GIVEN INVESTOR VISAS!

Information leaked by the Bali FKPPI LBH reveals a cunning modus operandi. The Foreign Nationals, mostly working as musicians and yoga teachers, approached the agent to apply for work stay permits (KITAS. The agent readily agreed, but what was issued turned out to be an investor visa—a completely different type of visa that is illegal for their type of work.

"The foreign victims didn't understand the regulations, they just trusted the agent. This is clearly detrimental," asserted Fanisa Wilson SH, Deputy Director of the Bali FKPPI LBH.

CASCADE OF SUFFERING: OVERSTAYS OF 200 DAYS, FINES REACHING IDR 200 MILLION!

Due to the incorrect visas and unclear processes, dozens of foreigners were forced into overstaying. The most shocking discovery was that some victims had overstayed for more than 200 days! With a fine of IDR 1 million per day, a single victim could face accumulated fines of up to over IDR 200 million!

"Losses are estimated to be in the billions of rupiah. This is extremely harmful to the foreign victims and also to us as the host country," emphasized an LBH representative.

PASSPORTS HELD HOSTAGE, THREATENING TEXT MESSAGES TO SILENCE VICTIMS!

It wasn't just their money that was lost; their freedom was also snatched away. The passports of the Foreign Nationals were confiscated by the agent without clear reason. Even more cruelly, they received verbal threats and intimidating text messages.

"I received threats saying, 'do not report this and do not tell a lawyer, otherwise your visa cannot be retrieved'," said one victim who wished to remain anonymous.

A VIRAL VICTIM: JELLY FISH GEORGE 'BAKSOMAN' AMONG THE VICTIMS!

The case has garnered significant public attention as it involves Jelly Fish George, a creative artist known for his 'BaksoMan' persona. In his statement, Jelly, who loves Bali, voiced his disappointment.

"I love Indonesia and Bali, in the end. I hope the Government provides justice for us foreigners whose documents are held hostage; there are hundreds of us," Jelly stated firmly.

LBH TAKES SWIFT ACTION: CRIMINAL & CIVIL LAWSUITS TO BE FILED!

The Bali FKPPI LBH is now taking serious steps. **Gede Sugianyar SH**, Chairman of the Bali FKPPI LBH, affirmed that his institution is ready to guide this case all the way to the courtroom.

"Here there are reports of civil issues and also potential criminal charges. The legal actions to be taken are civil lawsuits and criminal charges due to fraud and embezzlement," Sugianyar asserted.

They have also coordinated with the Immigration Office and are supported by the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) to provide comprehensive protection for the victims.

Meanwhile, PT. MIG, the service agency suspected of involvement, did not respond at all when contacted by media via WhatsApp.

URGING THE GOVERNMENT: EXPOSE THIS NOW!

The FKPPI LBH is urging the government and related institutions to thoroughly investigate this case, which has tarnished Indonesia's name internationally.

"FKPPI LBH hopes the government and related institutions can investigate and resolve this case openly so as not to tarnish the name of Indonesia in the eyes of foreign countries," Sugianyar concluded.

With hundreds of victims, billions in losses, and an impact that damages Bali's reputation as a w orld tourist destination, this case is predicted to become VIRAL in Internasional 2025.
