Bali, October 8, 2025 — Several victims of a notorious rogue agent in Indonesia are now preparing to seek justice through legal channels. In an online Zoom meeting, the victims shared the case chronology and the financial losses they suffered due to the alleged fraudulent actions of the agent.Fanisa Wilson, Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) of FKPPI Bali, stated that her office has collected hundreds of pieces of evidence related to the alleged crimes committed by this agent.
“New reports keep coming every day, from both inside and outside Bali. The number of victims continues to grow, and the total losses have reached billions of rupiah,” Fanisa said during an interview with Jurnalis WartaGlobalBali.Id.The agent’s modus operandi was quite sophisticated and systematic.
Victims were promised substantial profits through investment cooperation or business legality processing services.
However, after funds were transferred, the process was never completed, and communication was cut off. One victim, using the pseudonym Arbely, admitted losing hundreds of millions of rupiah after trusting the agent’s sweet promises. “At first, everything seemed professional—there was an agreement letter and official documents. But after we sent the money, they started avoiding us,” Arbely revealed.LBH FKPPI Bali has formed a special team to trace the flow of funds and is preparing an official report for the police.
Fanisa also urged the public to be more cautious of cooperation offers that lack a clear legal basis. “We are committed to assisting all victims until this case is fully resolved. No more members of the public should fall victim to fraud like this,” she asserted. This case is now in the spotlight as it involves a wide network with victims in various regions. LBH FKPPI Bali plans to hold a press conference soon to provide updates on the ongoing legal process.
The victims of this rogue agent in Indonesia are now standing up for justice against increasingly complex and damaging fraud schemes. Public vigilance and enforcement of the law remain key to preventing similar losses in the future.
