French citizen Hafedh has spoken out. He firmly denied allegations of trespassing, physical violence, and threats against a couple in front of a baby at a villa in Kerobokan, Badung, Bali, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at around 2:00 PM WITA.
As reported by various Indonesian media outlets in Bali, Indonesia.
In a written statement received by Redaksi, Hafedh called the circulating narrative baseless, misleading, and completely untrue. He also outlined his version of events, from the background of the business relationship to the series of events before and after the incident, leading up to the arrest of QAAS, also known as Kurtis.
Hafedh explained that the incident was inextricably linked to a property business issue in Bali, involving Kurtis and Jackson's girlfriend, Hemi Mckinnon Love, from Australia, and Tania Chiariello, from Italy. Under this partnership, Kurtis reportedly held leasehold rights to several plots of land and villas managed by Jackson through PT Kool Love Konsept.
As time went on, Kurtis became uneasy after receiving information that these assets would be transferred to another party, Zach, without his knowledge. "Kurtis has attempted to request clarification and the return of his rights, but has received no response from Tania and Jackson," Hafedh said in a written release on Wednesday (January 14, 2026).
Hafedh admitted that he accompanied Kurtis to the villa after Dylan, Jackson and Tania's housemate, invited them to meet. The villa they were staying in was actually a leasehold owned by Kurtis, rented out under the name of PT Kool Love Konsept. They arrived with a staff member the following day, Saturday, August 2, 2025. However, upon arrival, the situation reportedly escalated. Hafedh claimed Jackson was aggressive and pushed him against the glass window several times.
"I didn't retaliate at all, I just asked him to stop," he asserted. Hafedh also stated that he had just realized the presence of a toddler in the room. To protect the child from Jackson's rage, he asked a woman to take the baby out of the room. The tension escalated until Hafedh was pushed again, causing the glass window to break.
At the same time, Hafedh claimed Tania made verbal threats, alluding to his alleged criminal history, which led to his imprisonment in Sydney. "Listen. I was imprisoned for a year and a half in Sydney. You don't know who you're dealing with," Hafedh wrote, citing the tone of the threat. However, he did not respond to the threats and only asked the couple to calm down.
The situation eventually de-escalated, and it was agreed that a follow-up meeting would be held peacefully. In a subsequent separate meeting, Tania reportedly came alone to meet Kurtis. Hafedh was present with a female friend.
On that occasion, according to Hafedh, Tania confided that Jackson had been the driver who drove Tania and her ex-boyfriend Matteo to escape from Australia via Brisbane.
Jackson also helped the two escape from Australia using fake passports. Tania escaped immigration at the airport, while Matteo did not. Therefore, Tania turned herself in. She and Matteo served a year and a half in prison for drug charges in Australia. Long story short, Tania is now suspected of dating Jackson.
The third meeting took place at Hafedh's residence, witnessed by Kurtis and Hafedh's partner.
The location was equipped with surveillance cameras, and the entire conversation was videotaped. During the meeting, they discussed settling Kurtis's financial rights to the villa where Tania and Jackson had been living. Hafedh stated that an amount of over one hundred thousand rupiah was agreed upon, written and signed by Tania, witnessed by both parties.
"I have copies of the documents and the video recording as evidence," he said. Shortly after the meeting, Hafedh and his female companion left for Sydney. There, the two investigated Tania's background to verify the story she had told him. From this investigation, he claimed to have obtained several pieces of information.
Tania was suspected of having previously worked as a sex worker in Sydney under the name "La Mia Diamond." And he is suspected of having no experience in the property sector. This is compounded by media coverage in Bali, Indonesia, regarding the events of August 2, 2025. He believes this strengthens the suspicion of engineering. There was a systematic attempt to damage the property.

There was a systematic effort to damage Kurtis and Hafedh's reputations and seize assets that did not belong to the couple.
He also alluded to alleged money laundering activities involving several individuals. This operation allegedly involved assistance from someone previously identified by Kurtis during police questioning: a French woman with Australian citizenship named
