Jakarta – World warta global.Id
President Prabowo Subianto reportedly held a closed-door meeting at the State Palace in Jakarta on Saturday evening (July 11, 2026), bringing together several of Indonesia's top officials from the military, law enforcement, intelligence, and national security institutions.
According to circulating information, those attending the meeting included Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Deputy TNI Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita, State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Chief Muhammad Herindra, Head of the Special Development Control and Investigation Agency (Bappisus) Aris Marsudiyanto, along with several other senior government officials.

As of the time of publication, the Presidential Palace had not issued an official statement regarding the agenda or substance of the meeting. It remains unclear whether the discussion focused on national security, law enforcement, strategic government policies, or other state matters.

The meeting has attracted public attention because it took place amid heightened scrutiny surrounding several major corruption investigations, including developments involving former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah.
However, there is currently no official information indicating that the State Palace meeting was related to the legal proceedings involving the former official. Any connection between the two events remains speculative and has not been confirmed by the government.

Political observers note that coordination meetings involving senior leaders of the armed forces, police, prosecution service, and intelligence agencies are a routine part of state governance, particularly when addressing strategic national issues. Nevertheless, given the strong public interest in anti-corruption efforts, greater transparency regarding the meeting's agenda is expected to help prevent speculation and strengthen public confidence.

The public is now awaiting an official explanation from the Presidential Palace concerning the purpose and outcome of the meeting. Such clarification is considered important to ensure transparency and reinforce trust in Indonesia's governance and rule of law.
