The operations of nightlife venue Jade by Todd English, better known as Jade Club, located on Jalan Pemelisan Agung, Tibubeneng, North Kuta, Badung Regency, continue to draw public attention. After being hit by a series of controversies in recent months, the club is once again under scrutiny after two foreign women working as bottle girls were deported by immigration authorities for violating their stay permits.

The two foreign nationals were identified as Tes Fleur Khoudair and Nikita Falke. Both were found guilty of misusing their visit stay permits by entering Indonesia with Visa on Arrival (VOA) and using it to work in Bali, allegedly after being recruited by a foreign event organizer.

Under Indonesian immigration regulations, VOA is strictly intended for tourism, family visits, social activities, or limited business purposes that do not generate income within Indonesia.

This means VOA holders are strictly prohibited from working or receiving payment in Indonesia.

Tes Fleur Khoudair was deported first on Thursday, June 4, 2026, on Qatar Airways Flight QR 962 on the Denpasar–Doha route. According to a source, she allegedly attempted to flee while at the international departure immigration checkpoint but was immediately intercepted by officers before being secured and deported.

Meanwhile, Nikita Falke was deported later on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, via Qatar Airways Flight QR 963 on the same Denpasar–Doha route.

The deportations signal tighter scrutiny over foreign workers in Bali, particularly in the nightlife and entertainment sector.

The misuse of visit visas for employment has become one of the most common immigration violations in Bali, especially in tourism hotspots such as Canggu, Seminyak, and North Kuta.

This case also adds to the growing list of issues involving Jade Club. Previously, the venue was linked to a violent incident and allegations involving foreign DJs who were also reportedly difficult to deport.

Separately, the Head of Information and Immigration Communication Section at the Class I Special Immigration Office of Ngurah Rai, Husnan Handano, confirmed the deportation of the two foreign women.

According to him, both were proven to have abused their visit permits by working as bottle girls at the nightclub.

“It is true that the two women have been deported,” Husnan said.

As a result of their violations, immigration officers imposed administrative immigration sanctions in the form of deportation and blacklisting, preventing them from re-entering Indonesia for a certain period in accordance with applicable regulations.

“NF was deported to her home country via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, on Flight QR 963, Denpasar–Doha route. Meanwhile, TFK was deported earlier on Thursday, June 4, 2026, via Flight QR 962 on the same route,” he concluded. ()
