Langsa City – The Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Aceh Province, Brigadier General Pol. Drs. Marzuki Ali Basyah, MM, led a coordination meeting (Rakor) to implement the Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Drug Trafficking (P4GN) program at the Langsa City BNN office.
The meeting aimed to accelerate the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto’s ASTA CITA program in Aceh Province. It was attended by the Head of Langsa City BNN, Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Dahlan, SH, MH, along with the General Affairs Subdivision Head, team leaders, and all BNN personnel.
During the meeting, held in the local office’s auditorium on Friday (07/03/2025), Brigadier General Marzuki Ali Basyah emphasized several key directives that must be carried out by Langsa City BNN personnel.
He stressed the importance of inter-agency collaboration to strengthen the P4GN strategy in Aceh, particularly in Langsa City and East Aceh.
He highlighted that illicit drug trafficking is a serious threat that must be addressed with a comprehensive approach, including law enforcement, prevention, and rehabilitation.
"The success of the P4GN program heavily depends on synergy between BNN and various stakeholders. With the acceleration of ASTA CITA, we hope to create a safer and drug-free environment, especially in Aceh," Brigadier General Marzuki stated in his address.
In addition to discussing law enforcement strategies, the meeting also emphasized the need to increase public awareness, particularly among the youth, regarding the dangers of drugs.
Rehabilitation programs for drug users were also a key focus, aiming to establish a more humane and sustainable approach.
Through this coordination, it is expected that the P4GN efforts in Aceh will become more effective and well-directed, supporting the realization of President Prabowo’s vision for public welfare and security.
Furthermore, Brigadier General Marzuki instructed the Head of Langsa City BNN, the General Affairs Subdivision Head, team leaders, and all personnel to carry out their duties with discipline, professionalism, and full responsibility.
"Enhance intelligence functions and report the results to me immediately. We will take firm action against drug dealers and traffickers—there will be no tolerance for those who have destroyed the younger generation and disrupted national stability," he firmly stated.
He also urged Langsa City BNN to establish "Desa Bersinar" (Drug-Free Villages) in collaboration with the Regional Government, various agencies, as well as state-owned (BUMN) and regional-owned enterprises (BUMD).
"God willing, the new Mayor of Langsa and the Regent will support BNN’s programs. I have spoken directly with them," concluded Brigadier General Marzuki, who is commonly known as "Om Juki."
Responding to the directives from the Head of BNN Aceh Province, Langsa City BNN Head, Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Dahlan, SH, MH, stated to the media that all instructions from the leadership would be promptly followed up and implemented.
"Alhamdulillah, our leader was able to meet with all Langsa City BNN personnel in a structured work meeting. His presence here has become a motivation for us to carry out our duties," Dahlan concluded.
