Indonesia was in the international spotlight at the 28th ASEAN Directors-General of Immigration Departments and Heads of Consular Affairs Divisions of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs (DGICM) 2025 forum in Brunei Darussalam. During the meeting, Indonesia demonstrated its commitment to preventing human smuggling in the ASEAN region. Acting Director General of Immigration, Yuldi Yusman, led the Indonesian delegation and presented the successful uncovering of human smuggling routes through effective cooperation between national and international law enforcement officials.
