Special Class I Immigration Office TPI Ngurah Rai continues to drive the transformation of public services through its Pasporia (Passport Ceria) innovation, a passport management service held on weekends. The program is the answer to the needs of people who have had a hard time taking care of their passports on weekdays.
The implementation of Pasporia on Saturday, July 11, 2026, has a strategic value because for the first time it was held in Immigration Lounge Discovery Mall Bali, a service facility that had just been inaugurated a few days earlier. The presence of the lounge demonstrates the Directorate-General for Immigration's efforts to bring immigration services closer to the center of community activity, while also bringing a more comfortable service experience.
Unlike the conventional services at immigration offices, Pasporia offers ease of access on holidays. The move is seen as a form of public service adaptation to the modern society's patterns of activity that are often constrained by working hours.
In the first implementation at the new location, Ngurah Rai Immigration Office served 16 passport applications. All stages of the service, from requirements checking, data verification to biometric retrieval are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that services remain professional, prompt and accountable.
The head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Bugie Kurniawan, asserted that Pasporia is part of the Directorate General for Immigration's commitment to improving the quality of public services more accessible to people.
