After five days of searching, three people aboard the BALIMAN speedboat have been found safe and healthy in Puger, East Java.
The three POB (Persons On Board)—I Nyoman Budiana, the captain, and crew members Keristino Sahreza Avendi Da and Niko Demios Landena—were reported missing on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after BALIMAN suffered engine failure in the waters of Manta Point, Nusa Penida.
They were reportedly found by local fishermen in East Java waters on Wednesday, September 16, and evacuated to Puger Beach.
Head of the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office I Nyoman Sidakarya confirmed that the three were safe and in good health.
The Indonesian Shipyard Association (AGSI) also closely monitored the search. AGSI Chairman Alif Fian Nurcahyamto followed the operation until the three were found, while AGSI Secretary General Febri Hantari, S.H., monitored their condition at the Puger Naval Post and local SAR/Basarnas facilities.
After five days at sea, the three BALIMAN POBs were finally reunited with safety—all alive, healthy, and unharmed.
