WORLD, WARTAGLOBAL.id - Inspector General Pol. Drs. I Putu Jayan Danu Putra, M.Si., the Bali Police Chief, accompanied by Mrs. Chairwoman of Bhayangkari Bali, Mrs. I Ketut Putu Jayan, escorted the departure of Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. (H.C.) K.H. Ma'ruf Amin, along with Mrs. Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Hj. Wury Ma'ruf Amin, at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Tuesday (May 23, 2023).
Also present were Bali Governor, Dr. Ir. Wayan Koster, M.M., accompanied by his wife, Commander of the IX/Udayana Regional Military Command, Major General TNI Sony Aprianto S.E., M.M., accompanied by his wife, and the 163/Wirasatya Regional Military Commander, Brigadier General TNI Agus Muchlis Larif, along with his wife and other relevant officials.
The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and his wife returned to Jakarta after leading the Opening Meeting of the 18th Asian Media Summit held at the BNDCC in Nusa Dua, Bali, the previous day.
Head of the Operations Bureau of the Bali Regional Police, Commissioner Pol. Nuryanto, S.I.K., M.Si., stated that the security provided by the Indonesian National Police and Indonesian National Armed Forces to Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. (H.C.) K.H. Ma'ruf Amin, and Mrs. Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia during their stay in Bali was carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) applied to visiting heads of state in Bali.
"Our security measures have been in accordance with the SOP for VVIP guest protection. Each step of the activities, ranging from securing the routes and paths to location sterilization by members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Mobile Brigade and the K9 Unit of the Bali Regional Police's Security and Maintenance Division, were completed before handing over to the Presidential Security Detail," he said.
The entire series of visits by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and Mrs. Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Island of the Gods, Bali, including their departure, went smoothly. (Netti)
