The Indonesian Tourism Enthusiasts Association (P3I), a gathering of professionals from various C-Level positions supporting the preservation of Indonesian cultural grandeur, is ambitious to show the world that Bali is the world's favorite ecotourism destination. "The grandeur of Puri culture, as exemplified by the Pelebon Raja Denpasar IX event, not only signifies the sacredness of the awakening process to the values of life and existence but also serves as a catalyst for preserving cultural heritage that can generate revenue," said Jeffry Yunus, Chairman of P3I.
In the first three months of 2023, data from the Bali Central Statistics Agency (BPS) showed a total of 1,026,367 visits, a 6.34% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. Throughout 2022, the total number of visits reached 2.1 million, surpassing the target of 1.5 million. "We have noted that the Governor of Bali is targeting 4.5 million visits in 2023. P3I is optimistic that the increase in the number of visits will have a positive impact on prosperity, provided there is a strong fundamental basis rooted in culture, accompanied by the concept of ecotourism."
"The Pelebon Raja Denpasar IX ceremony tomorrow will demonstrate to the world that the present generation is very serious about ensuring the preservation of the grandeur of Bali's cultural heritage, alongside maintaining a clean and sustainable environment," added Jeffry Yunus.
