Nestled within this flavorful tapestry is the renowned "Cah Angon" salted egg, proudly produced on Sunan Gunung Jati Street, in the village of Limbangan Wetan, within the Brebes district. What makes this story even more intriguing is that the driving force behind this endeavor is none other than Bripka Weros Tohara, an officer in the Traffic Division of the Brebes Regional Police. This dedicated officer has wholeheartedly embraced a family legacy rooted in the fertile lands of Pantura Brebes.
At the heart of the culinary craftsmanship lies not just the original brine-cured eggs, but also the smoky allure of smoked salted eggs and the delectable twist of roasted salted eggs. The "Cah Angon" salted egg haven has graced the Brebes landscape since 2001.

"This venture was born within the close-knit embrace of our family. It began as a modest enterprise, its reach limited, but today it stands as a beacon of flavor, known far and wide," Bripka Weros shared, amidst his duties with the Traffic Division on a radiant Wednesday (August 9, 2023).
What once started with a mere duo of employees, due to the surge in demand, has now blossomed into a workforce of 15 dedicated individuals. "Our recruitment strategy revolved around our neighborhood, seeking to provide employment to those in need, thus contributing to the prosperity of our community and supporting the local government's drive to nurture Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) within the Brebes Regency," he added.

Bripka Weros Tohara emphasized how the journey has been fortified by unwavering support from various quarters, including his department and superiors. "With a distinctive taste profile, perfectly balanced in its salinity, and with the guidance of the Brebes Regional Police's Traffic Division Head, we designed an appealing package that not only carries our product's name but also conveys important community messages," he further elaborated.
The packaging of "Cah Angon" salted eggs is indeed a sight to behold, adorned with community-oriented messages and practical road safety reminders.
Meanwhile, Kasat Lantas AKP Edi Sukamto showered accolades upon the officer's endeavor, underlining the significance of officers engaging in positive endeavors beyond their official duties. "While our professional duties continue undeterred, we wholeheartedly support any positive initiative undertaken by our personnel, especially when it contributes to the local economy," he expressed with enthusiasm.
