18/4/2024, Ahead of the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) which will take place in Nusa Dua Bali on the 18th s.d. 24 May 2024, Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Suhendra, conveyed the readiness of Ngurah Rai Immigration to make the largest international meeting in the water sector a success.
“We have separated the arrival route between delegations and regular passengers in the immigration area. We have prepared 3 special counters for delegates with a total of 12 officers. "For regular passengers, we have prepared 30 autogate units and 10 inspection counters with 40 officers," explained Suhendra.
Suhendra added that for immigration checks on delegates, there are several inspection mechanisms. For head of state level (VVIP) it will be done in the VVIP building, for Minister level (VIP) it will be done in the VIP building and for other delegations it will be done at the international arrivals terminal.
"We have done mapping and plotting for the officers, we have also prepared a mobile unit to be used for immigration checks for VVIP/VIP level delegates," added Suhendra.
"Related to other preparations, we have installed several sign boards at strategic points to facilitate the arrival of delegates via a special route at the arrival terminal. "I think we are already on track in preparing to welcome the WWF delegation, and we will continue to monitor developments in the situation and conditions in the field," said Suhendra.
