As part of its ongoing commitment to transforming public services into a system that is faster, easier, more transparent, and accountable, the Ngurah Rai Class I Special Immigration Office officially entered into a strategic partnership with PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Monday (July 6) at the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office.

The partnership focuses on integrating the delivery of Indonesian Passports through the GoSend feature on the Gojek application. This innovation is expected to provide greater efficiency and convenience for applicants who have completed all passport application procedures at the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office.
The Head of the Ngurah Rai Class I Special Immigration Office, Bugie Kurniawan, expressed his appreciation to PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk for its commitment and trust in building this strategic collaboration. He emphasized that public service is a core government responsibility that must continuously evolve alongside advancements in information technology.

"The signing of this cooperation agreement represents a tangible synergy between the government and the private sector in improving the quality of public services. Through this partnership, passport delivery via the Gojek application is expected to provide greater convenience and efficiency for the public," said Bugie Kurniawan.

He further stressed that the success of the partnership depends not only on the signing of the agreement but also on the commitment of both parties to implement every provision responsibly, consistently, and professionally.
"We hope this collaboration will mark the beginning of broader bureaucratic digitalization that is adaptive, innovative, and driven by integrity," he added.

Meanwhile, Gojek's management expressed its appreciation for the warm reception and openness shown by the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office. The company described the partnership as an ideal bridge between the public and private sectors to deliver practical solutions that directly benefit the community.

According to Gojek, the high demand for passport services in Bali has resulted in daily application quotas being filled almost every day. The introduction of the GoSend passport delivery service is therefore designed to reduce queues for passport collection at the immigration office while enhancing public convenience.

The security of state-issued documents remains the highest priority. Applicants will be able to monitor the real-time location of their passports throughout the delivery process using Gojek's live tracking feature, ensuring greater transparency, security, and peace of mind.

Looking ahead, Gojek reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the digital transformation of public services, including future support for operations at the Immigration Lounge. The initiative aims to create a faster, more responsive, and efficient immigration service ecosystem for the public.

This collaboration represents another significant milestone in the modernization of Indonesia's immigration services and demonstrates the value of strong partnerships between government institutions and the private sector in delivering high-quality, technology-driven public services.
