BNI wondrX 2026 Ignites the Market: Transactions Surpass IDR 2.7 Trillion as More Than 100,000 Visitors Flock to ICE BSD

Wednesday, August 26, 2026

Jakarta, World.WartaGlobal.id – BNI wondrX 2026 closed its event series with a strong performance. Held from August 21–23, 2026, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, the three-day event generated more than IDR 2.7 trillion in transactions.

The achievement represented 20 percent growth compared with the previous year, exceeding BNI’s initial target of 14 percent. Public interest also surged, with more than 100,000 visitors attending the event—an increase of approximately 30 percent from the 76,000 visitors recorded last year.

Under the theme “One Ecosystem, Continuous Motion,” wondrX 2026 demonstrated BNI’s strategy of developing an ecosystem that extends beyond conventional banking products. Nearly 400 tenants from the property, automotive, travel, food and beverage, retail, lifestyle, sports and family sectors participated, creating a broad marketplace for consumers.

Visitors were not simply offered discounts. They could explore products, obtain information, consult with service providers, calculate financing simulations, access digital banking services and turn their needs into transactions.

CEO of Danantara Indonesia Rosan Roeslani said a bank’s performance should not be judged solely by profit, assets or lending. The ability to provide relevant services and deliver tangible benefits to society, he said, is also an important measure of successful banking transformation.

“The presence of wondr by BNI and the strengthening of BNI’s digital services demonstrate how banking transformation must begin with people’s needs, rather than simply serving BNI’s interests,” Rosan said when opening wondrX 2026.

14 Percent Target, 20 Percent Realization

BNI had initially set a 14 percent transaction-growth target. The final result, however, reached 20 percent.

Promotional programs, cashback, installment facilities and convenient payment options through BNI Cards and wondr by BNI helped drive transaction activity throughout the event.

Various zones, including Housing, Automotive, Travel, Food and Beverage, Lifestyle, Sports and Hobby, and Family Activation, brought a wide range of consumer needs together in one venue.

Nearly 400 Tenants Compete for Consumer Attention

The event featured 31 Automotive tenants, 20 Housing tenants, 25 Travel tenants, 44 BNI-supported MSMEs, 141 Retail and Lifestyle tenants, 130 Food and Beverage tenants, and 7 Emerald Lounge tenants.

The large visitor turnout created opportunities for businesses to engage directly with consumers. For supported MSMEs, the event offered an opportunity to expand their reach and introduce products to new customers.

For visitors, the broad tenant mix provided greater room to compare products and services before making purchasing decisions.

Digital Transactions Accelerate, Cyber Risks Remain

Amid the surge in transactions, BNI also maintained a strong focus on consumer protection. Together with Bank Indonesia, BNI organized a Consumer Protection and Financial Literacy talk show as part of the Joint Consumer Protection Education Movement (GEBER PK).

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo emphasized that digital transformation must be accompanied by stronger public literacy.

“Education and literacy are essential in helping people recognize various forms of cybercrime and become more responsible in protecting their data and financial transactions,” Okki said.

With transactions exceeding IDR 2.7 trillion and visitor numbers surpassing 100,000, wondrX 2026 demonstrates the growing ability of banking, technology, commerce and lifestyle services to converge within a single economic ecosystem.

However, the achievement also comes with greater responsibility. As digital transaction volumes increase, expectations for data security, service transparency and consumer protection will inevitably rise.

The transaction volume and visitor turnout provide a strong indication of market response to BNI’s ecosystem strategy. The next challenge is ensuring that this growth is not measured merely by numbers, but by sustained value for consumers, MSMEs and the wider business community.
